Hi! I’m Jamilah Parker, a Licensed Esthetician and Sugarist with a deep passion for helping others feel comfortable, confident, and cared for in their own skin. With over 4 years of hands on experience and specialized training in trauma informed care, I approach every service with sensitivity, intention and a focus on creating a safe and welcoming space. Beyond the treatment room, I’m also a proud mother to two teenagers; a son & daughter. Which has shaped my ability to nurture, listen, and hold space for others in meaningful ways. I love music (you’ll often get a free concert in the treatment room on accident!) being by the water, a good sunrise and an even better sunset! ✨The why behind the name✨ I chose the name Jamilah Noor because it carries deep personal meaning. Jamilah is my given name, meaning beautiful. And Noor, means light. Together, they reflect the heart of my work! Creating a space that feels both beautiful and radiant, where every client can feel seen, cared for and confident in their own glow. My work isn’t just about beauty it’s about empowerment, self-care, and helping each client connect with their own, Beautiful Light. I’m so excited to welcome you into my space and look forward to being part of your self-care journey. •Policies (please read thoroughly)• •Appointments• We are by appointment only, ensuring personalized care and attention. •Cancellations• We kindly request 24–48 hours’ notice for appointment changes. Late cancellations (less then 24 hours) or missed appointments may incur a 50% fee of the total scheduled service, charged to the card on file. •Payments• All major cards and cash accepted. Although cash is accepted please keep in mind I will not have change on hand. Payment is due at the time of service. •Client Care• Your comfort and safety are paramount. Please share any skin sensitivities or concerns prior to your visit. What is sugaring? Sugaring is a gentle, natural hair removal method that uses a sugar based paste made from just three ingredients (sugar, lemon and water) to remove hair from the root, leaving skin silky smooth and soft for weeks. Perfect for anyone looking for a more natural, effective, and less painful way to maintain silky, healthy skin! What if I’m on my monthly cycle? It’s completely okay to receive sugaring services while on your menstrual cycle. For comfort and hygiene, we ask that you have a tampon or menstrual cup inserted during your appointment. This helps you feel secure and ensures the experience remains clean and comfortable. •How to Find Our Office• Address: Simple Office Suites 1651 West Centre Avenue, Suite 102 Portage, MI 49024 Outside doors automatically lock at 6p, if arriving for your appointment after that time please text me to open the door. I may still be with a client, so feel free to stay in your vehicle until I text back. Directions from Centre Avenue: 1. Head west on Centre Avenue toward Valleywood (you will see Drake Dental & Renovation Church) 2. Turn onto Valleywood (right after you pass Renovation Church) 3. After you turn onto Valleywood, look ahead you’ll see a State Farm sign 4. Just before the State Farm sign, take a left turn 5. Immediately after that, take another left (a quick second left) 6. The building will be directly in front of you!
